Where are you starting from?

ONA welcomes applications from domestic and international students. Admission and course placement depend on each applicant's educational background, eligibility and available programs.

ELEMENTARY PROGRAM

Grades 1–8

Ontario curriculum-based learning for elementary students. Contact our admissions team to confirm current program and grade availability.

SECONDARY PROGRAM

Grades 9–12

Ontario secondary school credit courses, academic planning and pathways toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

How to Enroll at ONA.

Our admissions process is designed to review each student's needs and determine an appropriate academic pathway.

Contact Our Admissions Team

Provide the student's current grade, educational background and intended program. We'll explain the appropriate next steps.

Submit Required Documents

Complete the registration form supplied by ONA and provide relevant identification and academic documents requested by the school.

Complete the Academic Review

The school reviews previous studies, prerequisites and placement requirements. Additional documents, assessments or interviews may be requested.

Finalize Registration

If admission is approved, enrollment is confirmed after required documents and applicable tuition arrangements are completed. The school then provides orientation and course access information.

Transferring Students

What About Previous Credits?

Students transferring from other schools or educational systems may have their previous secondary school studies reviewed for eligible credit recognition.

Where applicable, Ontario's Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) procedures are used. Credit recognition is determined after review under the applicable rules.

Learning at ONA

Choose a Learning Approach.

ONA offers Independent Study and Live Guided Learning, combining online coursework with teacher communication, feedback and support.

Students must meet the applicable course, attendance, participation and teacher-led session requirements, as explained in the School Course Calendar.

Can students enroll from outside Canada?

Yes. ONA accepts applications from eligible international students, subject to program availability and admission requirements.

Is admission guaranteed?

No. The school reviews each application and makes placement decisions based on applicable educational requirements.

Can previous credits be recognized?

Previous secondary school studies may qualify for credit recognition following the applicable academic review and PLAR procedures.

When is enrollment confirmed?

Registration is confirmed after admission approval, academic placement, required documentation and applicable tuition arrangements are completed.
